SPEAKING OF PROBLEMS DURING FLIGHTS

Objetivo: Talk about personal experiences using the vocabulary from the topic.

The conversation will center on this theme, but it can naturally move on to other subjects

Vocabulario clave: Bebés – babies, escala – Layover, conexión - connecting flight, vuelo directo - direct flight, vuelo – flight, retrasado – delayed, neblina – fog, demoras – delays.

Ejemplos: 

1. (yo) nunca he viajado con bebés en avión -  I have never traveled with babies on a plane

2. (yo) siempre he viajado con escala, es más barato - I’ve always traveled with layovers; it’s cheaper.

3. mis amigos han perdido sus maletas - My friends have lost their luggage.

4. ellos han dormido en el aeropuerto cuando viajan - They have slept at the airport when they travel

5. su vuelo se ha retrasado 3 horas - Their flight has been delayed by 3 hours.

Punto Gramatical: Pretérito perfecto compuesto, is used to talk about situations in the past that are relevant to the present.
